Sale of the Great Antique Lafite Collection
The availability of this unique collection was announced
on Saturday 21st April to a group of 50 wine enthusiasts
attending a marathon tasting of Lafite
Vintages between 1887 and 2003, hosted by
Stephen Williams and Charles Chevallier,
director of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, at the
Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat on the
French Riviera.
Discussions have commenced
with interested parties, and the sale of the
collection will undertaken in a closed bidding
process only open to registered verified bidders
or be negotiated by private treaty to the
highest bidder. The collection is now
offered for sale. The
guide price is between £0.5m and £1.5m sterling.
